SBARG MM5 Real-time Files for FARSITE Runs

The FARSITE gridded weather input files in this page are derived from interpolation of the 4km grid  MM5 forecasts. Input variables include temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction and precipitation (cloud cover is set to zero). The ASCII format input files can be read directly into FARSITE and ArcView.

Currently, files are available only for the southern California domain and from forecasts initialized at 00Z.

Note: the production of these FARSITE files has been suspended
