Walter Rosenthal, UCSB graduate student, ICESS researcher at Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Lab, and
Mammoth Mountain Ski Patrolman, died tragically April 6 while working on Mammoth Mountain. He is survived by his wife Lori, Special Education aide at Mammoth Middle School and daughter Lily.
Mammoth Mountain Ski Area has set up a fund to help the family of Walter Rosenthal during this difficult time.
