Figure Caption. This is a topographic image created from NASA's Shuttle Mission, SIR-C.  This mission collected interferometric SAR data over portions of the world.  This particular swath is oriented northeastward starting near Arica, Chile (the uppermost left image), crosses La Paz (uppermost right image), and ends near the upper reaches of the Amazon (i.e., the Beni river, lowermost right image).
