Image Processing Workbench (IPW)

IPW is a UNIX-based image processing system. IPW includes several UNIX filter programs which can be pipe-lined together to form complex and powerful image processing algorithms. IPW includes a development environment for creating new IPW shell scripts and programs in C. Here at ICESS, we find IPW often provides the simplest, most powerful and efficient methods for manipulating a wide variety of remote sensing and image data.
